Jar full of 'Happy"

Hello friends, I'd like to share this mason Jar card with you today. I made it to enter into the 'Mason jar' challenge over at Double 'D'Challenges.

I used two digital stamps I purchased from Etsy. The Jar image with bees is from LariPrintDesign. I printed the image twice and fussy cut the bees to add dimension. The second digital was the Gingham background print. This is from ClipHeartCreations.  Thank you for stopping by to check out my newest creation.

Cutest Critter

     I can not believe it's already August and time for school to start back for my kiddos. It is also time for a new challenge over at Paper FunDay, Challenge #32 Anything goes with an optional twist/ Cute Critters.

The image I am using this month is Early Butterfly, an adorable lil hedgehog critter from Polkadoodles!

I started out with the image and used alcohol markers to color and blend, I then scanned the image and made it a tad smaller to fit in my scalloped frame die cut. I then used Distress Inks to fill in around the image and to frame the outside background. I chose some Stampin UP DSP with the Butterfly Brilliance set for my background to the front of the card.

I then chose to put a yellow background behind my scalloped frame just to make it pop. I die cut the smallest butterflies from my stamping UP Butterfly Brilliance set and chose three colors of pearled paper to cut them from. I added some creases and some white gel pen for added details. I used a Spellbinders Hello Die for my sentiment on the front of the card and used the same three colors as the small butterflies and layered them.

 I used a small "you are loved" stamp for the inside and the coordinating butterfly stamp from Butterfly Brilliance and framed it with Distress Ink.
