Holiday Time

 Happy December All!!

I am excited to share the card I designed for this months Challenge over at Paper FunDay.

First Id like to thank our sponsors, we have Varada Sharma and Mirtillmente

Our challenge this month is as always anything goes or if you choose Holiday Time.

the image I am using fir my card is from Mirtillmente and is Flow Moon. It was such a simple but beautiful image I had to choose it!!!

I colored the image using alcohol markers.I scanned the colored image and sized it for the front of an A2 card. I fussy cut the image out and then began work on my background .
At first I wasn't sure which background I liked more but I settled on the white shine! I used my Distress Inks and spritzed water on it and also my Perfect Pearl for the added lunar shimmer! I layered that on a silver shimmer cardstock frame and a black cardstock base.

I heat embossed the moon  for the added shine. I also heat embossed the sentiment and added some embellishments for added interest.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card this month and I hope to see your entries over at Paper FunDay Challenge!

 Hey Friends,

Its a new month and a new challenge over at PaperFunDay Challenge. Our challenge for November is as always: Anything goes with an optional twist: Colors of Autumn. This month our wonderful sponsors are Hetty Clare and Sweet November Stamps. The image I chose to use is Sally Strawman, from Sweet November.

I colored this image with alcohol markers and then scanned it and re-sized it.

I made a base from recycled cardstock. I used some decretive ribbon, and some checkered DSP.
I added  a sweet fall sentiment and my card was complete.

Trick or Treat

I have missed sharing my cards with you these past few months. I am excited to share the card I have been working on for The Paper Funday Challenge. As always, October's challenge is anything goes with an optional twist/ "It's All About The Candy"!!

I like to give a huge 'Thank You" to this months sponsors Jan's Digi Stamps and Colour of Love.

The image I have selected to use is Witchy Possum and Batty Bats's Candy Corn Treats from Colour of Love.

I enjoyed coloring these cuties with my Prisma colored pencils and blending with Gamsol.

After coloring, I scanned the image in and enlarged it to be my focal image on the front of the card. I wanted the image to really stand out so I used my trusty detail scissors to carefully cut out the main image and the small candy corns as well.

The background was made using my Distress Oxide inks and some pearl spritz. I used my white gelly roll pen to add a few stars as well.

I think they turned out super cute and I absolutely love Candy Corn!!!
Just for added dimension, I  layered the background on a silver cardstock and then onto a black card base.

I finished the card with a fitting sentiment I stamped onto purple card stock.

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my newest card creation! I truly hope to see your entries over at Paper Funday Challenge!

Magic of May

 Hello Friends!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at the card I created for Paper FunDay Challenge #41.

As always the Challenge is Anything goes with an optional twist/ Family.

A HUGE Thank You to the May Sponsors, Colour Of Love and Dr.Digi's House Of Stamps!

The image I am working with today is Alchemy from Dr.Digi.

I used alcohol markers to color the image, then scanned the colored image back to make it a tad larger to use this as my main focus on this card. I fussy cut the image out and glued it to black card stock. I then cut the image out a second time just to give it a slight frame in black.

I used a piece of holographic card stock and sprayed some gold accent on top. I let that dry and added the chunky glitter for an added magical effect.

I chose this lovely astronomical clock as a background for my Alchemy image.

Now as a true Potterhead, I had to go with one of my favorite J.K.Rowling quotes as my sentiment.

I added a bit of Wink Of Stella to my potion bottle and my sentiment. I pieced it together and attached to a black cardstock base. This has been one of my favorite cards to create .

I hope you enjoyed the card and I cant wait to see your entries over at Paper FunDay Challenge.

Spring has Sprung

It's a new month and time for another Challenge over at Paper FunDay. Our April challenge #40 is as always, Anything goes with an optional twist April Showers.

A HUGE thank you to our lovely sponsors this month!! Jan's Digi Stamps and Lee Holland Art!!!

The card I created and Im sharing with you today is using a lovely image from  Lee Holland Art, Panda on a Branch.

I used alcohol markers to give him color and because I knew Id be trying to incorporate bamboo in the card, I decided to give him a bamboo branch.

I also purchased a bamboo digital so I could create my frame and just repeated it until I was happy with my bamboo forrest.

I used a die to cut out the window and then some foam tape to stand the frame up off of the image.

I gave it a black frame to place it on the card base.

To complete this card, I gave it a sweet sentiment and some green iridescent stickers for added interest.

I hope you enjoyed stopping by and taking a look at my card today and I hope to see your entry over at this months Challenge at Paper FunDay!
